Hardware Developer

Miele este prezentă în Brașov din anul 2009 cu o fabrică de producție ce asigură grupului necesarul de componente electronice şi subansambluri pentru unităţile de control ale aparatelor electrocasnice inteligente și cu un departament de Dezvoltare Software si Hardware în cadrul căruia sunt realizate programe software pentru o gamă variată de electrocasnice și produse profesionale Miele.

Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Must have requirements:

- At least 2 years of professional experience in hardware development

- Knowledge about microelectronics and worked in the past with microcontrollers(circuity), designing circuity (e.g. LED, displays, buzzers) for series production

- Broad experience with various microcontroller architectures including Watchdogs, ADC, Timers, Clock, RTC

- Knowledge of digital electronics and circuit design

- Knowledge in using development tools such as Zuken, Altium, PSpice, Eagle

- Experience using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers

- Knowledge about communication protocols and how they work (USB, SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, LAN etc.)

- Knowledge of hardware debugging and simulations

- Good knowledge and experience in hardware development, testing and documentation

- Previous experience in working with System and Hardware requirements

- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to specification

- English language (at least CEFR level B2)

Nice to have requirements:

- Ideally 5+ years of experience as Hardware Developer

- Knowledge about different circuits (H-Bridge, amplifiers, PWM, OpAmps, Filtering Circuits e.g, High/LowPass filter, Voltage supply)

- Experience in performing worst case analysis and component reliability studies (Thermal analysis, sneak path, electronic overstress, load dump, EMC, product specifications etc.)

- Practical knowledge about power supplies and power electronics (DC/DC Converter; Switching power Supply AC/DC, etc.)

- Experience in EMC and EMI design and testing

- German language is a plus

• Developing concepts for electronics and implementation in hardware not only for prototyping but also for series production

• Create and develop complex circuits

• Realization and validation of the component through calculations, simulations and/or experiments and tests

• Executing or initiating necessary tests and support for the integration of the component into series development

• Analysis and defining technical requirements

• Holistic development of electronics; e.g. incl. documentation, data sheet, layout support if necessary

• Performing worst case analysis and component reliability studies

• Developing solutions in an interdisciplinary and self-responsible team

• Validating technical specifications as to their completeness and ability to be implemented

• Providing support to other team members

• Ensuring that deliverables meet quality goals, as well as time and budget constraints

• Maintaining a close working relationship with software engineers, machanical engineers and architects at Miele Electronic in Germany
