Software Architect

Medicover Tech is the internal software service provider across business at Medicover. Our goal is to capture and translate the business requirements into information systems and develop the software applications across businesses in the healthcare and diagnostic industry. We design and develop innovative information systems in close partnership with our businesses, colleagues in both the in operations and IS&T, to support our provisioning of excellent customer, clinical and diagnostic services.

WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:

o 3+ years of experience as a Software Architect contributing to large distributed systems with high performance demands;
o 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer;
o Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL Server, WCF, REST API;
o Exposure to ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, TypeScript, Git, Azure DevOps;
o Deep understanding of business, information, infrastructure and software specializations areas;
o Experience of working in Agile environments with internationally distributed teams;
o Experience with TDD/BDD practices, CI/CD systems;
o Nice to have: experience with medical applications;
o Strong negotiation and presentation skills;
o Initiative and ability to work as part of a continuous growing team;
o Fluency in English language - both spoken and written;
o Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
o Pro-active behavior, good organization and time management skills;
o Provide a trusted partnership and commitment to the company values, to deliver a high quality of services to our customers.

YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO:

o Oversee the general “health status” of the core information systems specifically but not limited to: software design, technologies employed, database design, scalability, performance, integrity, security;
o Long term future proofing of the applications;
o Provide support and hands on investigation of complex technical issues;
o Responsible and accountable for technical debt (i.e. oversee, maintain, reduce, etc.);
o Agility in delivering functionality outside of formal release cycle;
o Provide informed opinion on the ability to meet future applications growth and business needs;
o Transfer of knowledge and experience to the local team members;
o Analyzing the industry innovation trends and combining existing technologies with new tools and processes that ensure continuous high quality code;
o Creating architectural blueprints and technical documentation, demonstrating prototypes through hands-on development;
o Tackling code complexity and scalability issues by advocating code quality and refactoring techniques and leading the implementation of modular architectures;
