For our client, a player in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Solar Energy with:

Minimum 5 years experience working as an Engineer for an engineering firm, EPC or Solar Developer;
References for implementing/leading project manager for minimum 3 MW Solar projects;
Deep knowledge of PV system components like modules, racking, inverters and BOS;
In-depth experience with AutoCAD, manual drafting, and electrical line drawing;
Educational background in Electrical engineering and some understanding of Medium and High Voltage AC;
Proficiency in English language (oral and written).

Developing viable and economically sustainable new and existing solar projects;
Creating full set Electrical drawings for Utility and Commercial-scale solar projects;
Preparing the Project Plans and supporting documents (CBA analysis);
Conducting site feasibility studies and assisting with site surveying for PV layouts, building measurements and solar trajectory, shading, and power output calculations;
Offering technical support to the sales team and finding ways to optimize budgets when submitting offers in this competitive market;
Monitoring all project parameters (quality, cost, schedule), initiating and managing corrective action in the event of deviations.
