We are looking for a Software Packager Developer that is willing to work remote for our office in Bucharest.

The work schedule is from Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm with one hour lunch break. We want that the person who comes in our team to be available for business travels.

• Mandatory Skills:

o College degree in IT or similar experience skills
o Good knowledge of Installshield and APP-V Sequencer tools
o Very good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and their components
o Good Visual Basic and PowerShell scripting skills
o Good knowledge of packaging standard rules and best practices
o Language skills: English – medium -> advanced
o Quick learner
o Ability to apply and build appropriate knowledge skills and experience
o Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Tasks and Activities :

• Creating Windows installer packages using specific packaging tools (Installshield, Orca) and customizing them according to the client’s requirements
• Creating APP-V packages using APP-V Sequencer and customizing them according to the client’s requirements.
• Creating standard documentation for the created package
• Using standard vb scripts in order to customize or manipulate the application’s behavior
• Wrapping packages according to customer’s requirements, for easier software deployment
• Investigating various packaging issues that may occur and providing solutions for fixing these issues
• Testing the basic package functionality
• Determining the application’s compatibility with the latest Operating Systems using specific tools and procedures
• Remediate applications or packages in order to assure their compatibility with the latest Operating Systems
