DevOps Support Engineer

Hunt Group – a mix of recruitment (executive search and head hunting) and outsourcing activities in industries such as IT, oil&gas, banking, finance and automotive.

- Good technical level on Unix & Linux (95%) and Windows (5%)
- Previous experience in a technical support position
- Strong skills on shell scripting and Perl and/or Python and network skills
- Willing to learn the business of our applications (Finance for Investment Banking, European Regulation
- Analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks (to size urgency of a request vs impact of the incident)
- Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings. - French knowledge is an advantage
- Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Level 1/2 of technical and functional support of the production and non-production environments, monitoring, incident resolution and troubleshooting
- Request/ incident/ problem management and crisis communication
- Documenting incident patterns and solutions/workarounds to solve them
- Be the main point of contact with the infrastructure teams
- Participate to the non-business hour’s needs (Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Weekend, Production constraints)
- Receive, install and validate the applicative packages coming from development team. You will guarantee the package consistency and its delivery path stays not changed from development to production
- Install new version in production and ensure post deployment technical and functional validation (and rollback if necessary)
- Reach for a full automation of manual tasks, delivery process and monitoring, co-working with the development team
- Develop, maintain & improve the tools necessary to manage the production
- Working with Continuous Delivery and Agile methodologies
