    Requirements

    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Technology / Industrial Engineering or comparable training;
    • Work experience in a production operations and knowledge of the automotive supplier industry are a plus;
    • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and good command of Microsoft Office suite;
    • Knowledge of "lean" methods and value stream mapping and Draw.Io skills
    • Advanced knowledge of English;
    • Communication, teamwork skills and process oriented thinking.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure optimum overall layout planning for a production plant, for medium to long-term use of resource capacity with the goal of optimum economy, space utilization, and productivity;
    • Planning for the entire plant the footprint and maintain the layout up to date; with the goal of achieving the Lean principles;
    • Create, update and optimize the overall plant layout (detail planning process planner) in cooperation with production and logistics, site infrastructure and engineering;
    • Create and update medium planning for machines and floor space, and inform central offices und supervisors about free or missing spaces;
    • Create, update and maintain plant profiles in cooperation with all plant departments and report to central offices.
