Technical Business Analyst

• Proven experience (2 – 3 years) in business analysis or related fields;
• Significant involvement (3+ years) in IT related companies (specifically software development or delivery);
• A degree from a university with relevant profile for the position is a plus;
• Very good analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
• Very good documentation skills;
• Advanced technical skills;
• Advanced knowledge of data security;
• Strong SQL Server knowledge;
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence;
• Advanced level of English language;
•Project management skills in terms of planning, organizing, and following tasks on a consistent basis until actual delivery;
• High level of flexibility and good communication skills with both customers (to understand the requirement) and colleagues involved in the development process (to understand the challenges and properly steer the process);
• Proven history of successful involvement in projects from various perspectives.

The main tasks will be understanding and describing the requirements from functional and technical perspective in the context of the customer business and of the existing software product, overview and support during the development phase and participating together with the technical testers in the delivery phase, including performing basic acceptance testing.


• Understanding the customers business from a user story perspective (the real-life users’ perspective);
• Understanding the current product and implemented functionality;
• Suggesting technology solutions with focus on technology strategies;
• Communicating with the technical team and informing them of the potential risks;
• Evaluating new requirements and processes and make suggestions on how these should be integrated in the final product;
• Performing requirements analysis and extend the initial request with technical documentation for the development team;
• Following the requirements taken over in a project management structure to ensure the complete flow of the requirement from initial evaluation phase until delivery in a timely and efficient manner;
• Making sure deliverables meet business needs and requirements;
• Performing user acceptance testing and overview the performed technical tests (test plans);
• Supporting development and testing team with understanding key concepts related to requirements and how to ensure successful implementation;
• Continuously evaluating the business process and product, proactively uncovering areas for improvement and further development;
•Gathering as much information as possible on the business process and current product to become a key person in the new product team that will describe and manage the implementation of the next generation software product.
• Staying up-to-date on the relevant technologies and procedures used in the development process.
