QA Engineer

Medicover Tech is the internal software service provider across business at Medicover. Our goal is to capture and translate the business requirements into information systems and develop the software applications across businesses in the healthcare and diagnostic industry. We design and develop innovative information systems in close partnership with our businesses, colleagues in both the in operations and IS&T, to support our provisioning of excellent customer, clinical and diagnostic services.

WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:

- Relevant experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools;
- Understanding of the high-level principles and structure of software systems;
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices;
- Experience with issues tracking tools and working with SQL;
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Great communication skills with both local and external teams;
- Experience in testing complex WEB/Desktop Applications & APIs, third party integrations;
- Knowledge and understanding of basic rules and tool for testing API (e.g. http, json, xml, Postman/SoapUI, Swagger, WCF Test Client);
- Ability to analyze results of tests and how to update existing test suits after API changes;
- Flexible attitude and ability to work in a self-organized team;
- Proactive behavior, good organizational and time management skills;
- Automated Testing knowledge is a plus.

YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO:

- Be part of the team responsible for functional testing and regression testing;
- Plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality level of deliverables;
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of test environments used;
- Provide accurate and relevant information regarding the quality of the system following the regression testing phase;
- Utilize various methods of testing (e.g. functional, exploratory, stress, integration, regression) in order to efficiently cover the impacted areas;
- Follow the Scrum Methodology throughout the entire development process;
- Provide training and skill development support for new team members;
- Provide support for production and UAT incidents;
- Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues.
