Quality Assurance Automation Working Student for Enterprise Cloud team in Hosting

About the team:

At 1&1, we strive to deliver quality above anything else. As part of the Enterprise Cloud team, we have a wide range of applications, from Internal tooling to Cloud Applications. Our products address the worldwide market. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Working Student to work with our cross-functional team of talented experts.

Main responsabilities:

• Test newly developed features of the applications and verify that the quality of existing features is stable over time
• Report and document the bugs using Jira
• Give feedback to the product owner regarding the quality of the product
• Be involved in all stages of feature development from conception until roll-out
• Collaborate with partners both in the onsite team as well as in a distributed team in Germany
• Last but not least, you will learn. We are looking for someone with potential that over time can become a strong contributor in the team

• BS degree or currently studying in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• An analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance
• Good communication skills and being a great team player

• Nice to have basic knowledge of OOP concepts
• Nice to have theoretical or practical experience with a programming language (Java, JavaScript, etc.)
• Nice to have previous hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver / Selenium IDE
• Nice to have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Nice to have previous experience in Software Quality Assurance as a Tester
