    Responsibilities

    A few of the main duties of a finance assistant are:

     Raise purchase orders for specific costs and departments, include them on the approval flow;
     Receive invoices from various departments and include them on the approval flow;
     Data entry into the systems, updating financial records;
     Cost analysis reports for other departments;
     Process invoices and follow up with internal clients, suppliers and partners as needed;
     Provide administrative support during budget preparation or other forecast or month end exercises;
     Check spreadsheets for accuracy and report any discrepancy identified;
     Maintain digital and physical financial records;
     Prepare various reports as asked by his/her supervisor.
