What do we expect from you?
Ideally 1 year of working experience in financial analysis within a financial services firm
University degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient IT skills (especially Excel, Power Point, Word)
Strong motivation, dedication and enthusiasm
Self-motivated, positive attitude
Willingness to learn and desire to exceed expectations
Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality
As a Corporate Finance Consultant, you will work on various Strategy and Transactions engagements in different industry sectors in which EY is acknowledged as a market leader, specifically: financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, telecommunications, industrial products, automotive, retail and consumer products, real estate.
What you will do:
Provide support during the project preparation stage (research, data collection, PowerPoint presentations and other necessary materials)
Research and monitoring relevant external publications in relation to M&A deals, financing transactions and market trends
Understand client needs and organizational structure
Contribute and offer alternative solutions throughout the project
Follow up with the manager the project conclusions
Request supervisor feedback (Senior / Manager / Partner / Director) on project performance and actively address issues identified to be improved
Work on various projects within service lines and/or sub-service lines
Verify and standardize company and sector data in order to facilitate peer analysis, enterprise valuation and financial forecast (e.g. graphs, tables, budget, business plan, macroeconomic and descriptive data etc.)
