    Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for one of its clients, a Car Rental and Operating Leasing – Fleet Management Services Company ,  for an Senior Accountant in Bucharest.


    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    •  Graduated  economic studies
    •  Experienced  of +5 years in financial &  accounting field with strong knowledge and experience in communication with Banks
    • Skills and experience in using the computer (Office and accounting software - WizCount, AS400), Excel proficiency is a must.
    •  Responsible person, organized and attentive to details
    • Financial literacy is imperative for this job
    • Adaptability for individual and team work
    • Independent user of English

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Functional:
    To carry out and/or provide assistance to the Chief Accountant:

    Cash and Banks:
    • Preparing the payment orders to suppliers, currency exchanging documents and monitoring the banks statements on a daily basis
    • Preparing the Cash Flow Report
    • Analyzing the Suppliers due date and preparing the report for payments approval.
    • Preparing the relating payment orders into banks online system
    • Preparing all the paper documents relating money withdrawn from banks (loans, cash) or any other  information/documents  requested by banks included but not limited to pledged cars and related documents from Asset Register in respect of loans..
    • Checking the entries and sales of cars in Fixed Assets Register,
       General ledger and preparation of monthly financial closure:
    • Posting all the external invoices. Monitoring the existence of Tax Residence Certificate.
    • Preparing the re-evaluation of loans, interest calculation on a monthly basis.
    • Preparing the re-evaluation of external balances at the end of the month.
    • Ensure the General Ledger is appropriately maintained including management of relevant general journals entries where required             
    Monthly Tax Statements:
    • Checking and correcting whenever is necessary, the monthly Sales and Purchases Journals, base of VAT monthly statement
    • Preparing the tax statements on a monthly basis (D100, D112, D300, D390 and D394)
    Reporting and financial audit:
    • Support in elaboration of Monthly Variance Report
    • Active support in financial audit process
    • Various reports and analysis of expenses requested by Company and Group Management
    General:
    • To perform any other duties within the scope of the position as directed.
    • To undertake miscellaneous tasks relevant to the position as required from time to time.
    • To carry out all duties and functions in a manner that promotes good teamwork
    •  Contribute to the maintenance of effective channels of communications.
    • Identify and communicate to management any issues/concerns effecting performance
    KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
    • Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities to achieve objectives within a timetable and with resources available.
    •  Experience in written and oral communication including preparation of reports
    •  Excellent report writing and research skills
    •  Proficient computer skills particularly Microsoft word and excel in particular formulas and graphs
    • At least five years relevant experience in an accounting position.
