    The Procurement Category Manager role is responsible for the procurement specific Categories (mainly Marketing, HR & Professional Services), below a defined threshold. The role can cover all Veeam geographies.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    a) Category Execution



    *

    Align with business to plan and execute category strategy


    *

    Plan and execute formal RFP's, ensuring that the Business obtains best value on all its spend and Procurement function attains Savings objectives


    *

    May take overall responsibility for the performance of certain Suppliers within specified categories / thresholds


    b) Category Support



    *

    Review 3rd party contracts up to a defined threshold and ensure Legal review and signature


    *

    Identify suppliers in certain geographies / categories and qualify them for formal RFP's (NDA, RFI)


    *

    Engage with Business to define requirements for quick-sourcing projects, obtain vendor quotations and negotiate them


    *

    Continuous work with internal and external stakeholders to improve category success


    c) Process Improvement / Operational Support



    *

    Identify areas for process development and/or improvement


    *

    Participate and contribute in S2P initiative: solution testing and implementation, training and working procedure design


    *

    Work with customized Reports and spend analysis (may require database clean up) and provide meaningful category insights


    Fluency in English and Czech

    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

    eProcurement / P2P software

    Good investigative skills;
