Product Engineer

•Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education
•Min 1 - 2 years of work experience in automotive engineering
•Ideally experience in mechatronics systems
•Experience in mechanical SPICE process is a strong plus
•Common plastic design and manufacturing processes knowledge including welding and assembly is a preferred
•Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific and legal requirements
•Business English language skills are mandatory,basic German language skills are a plus
•Willingness for frequent business travels

•Develop mechanical component based on given requirements through component design, validation and towards a fully released component in mass production
•Ensure proactive requirements and risk management for mechanical components according to MSPICE process description consisting of:
- Requirements analysis
- Component design
- Sample production
- Test against design and requirements
•Ensure domain requirements as well as cost targets, design-to-manufacture and timing goals are met
•Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific and legal requirements
•Collaborate with other internal functions like design, validation, manufacturing and industrialization
•Supervise and execute component testing including handling of hazardous substances, interpretation of test results, introduction of the necessary actions and modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are met
