Technical Buyer

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Experience in technical or commercial education field of mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering, or business training with experience in technical purchasing;
2 years of experience with purchasing in the automotive industry;
Knowledge of SAP and MS Office;
Knowledge of materials management;
Advanced knowledge of English.

Responsible for the purchasing process about the offer and order processing phase as well as the resulting orders and contracts;
Planning and controlling the deployment dates at the supplier, but also for creating the supplier portfolio;
Coordinating and negotiating the contract documents for new suppliers or technologies together with Strategic Purchasing;
Organizing and carrying out supplier workshops and coordinating the procurement of prototypes and/or pre-series items;
Conducting analyses of the procurement market and also developing effective strategies.
