    As part of GlobalStep's ongoing expansion and growth strategy, we are establishing a new Games QA practice in Bucharest. The opening of this office enables GlobalStep to be in closer proximity to our clients in Europe all while providing additional diversity to GlobalStep's tester resource pool.

    • 3+ years of hands-on QA experience on at least 5 titles
    • A proactive and positive work ethos
    • Proven experience leading QA teams and projects
    • Strong understanding of Agile and Agile QA workflows and methodologies
    • Excellent knowledge of popular QA tools (i.e. JIRA, TestRail, MS Excel)
    • Experience in technical network testing using various diagnostic tools


    • As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and coordinating QA functional teams, ensuring the use of Testing best practices and delivering high-standard, quality results to our global clients.

    Other responsibilities to include:

    • Understanding client requirements and developing complete test briefs for the QA team
    • Developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases
    • Effective management of capacity planning and ensuring accurate billing
    • Ensures that the practice provides client services to the highest level of quality
    • Coaching your team to yield high quality bugs from scripted and non-scripted testing
    • Participating in the training, performance and evaluation of QA team members
    • Define strategies and track KPI’s that support the company growth objectives, project deadlines, and adhere to client guidelines
    • Implement learnings in to team protocols and deliver continuous improvements
