Qualifications

•English language at proficiency level;
•Knowledge of measurement and analyze instruments operation (grinding and polishing machines, optical microscopes, mechanical testers);
•Knowledge of physical and mechanical analyses techniques (microsection preparation, optical inspection, X-Ray fluorescence, electronic microscopy, etc.);
•Basic knowledge of interconnection and assembling technologies of electro-mechanical products (soldering, welding, press-fit, screwing, gluing, etc.);
•University degree in the following fields: Physics, Mechanics, Materials Science, etc.;

We are looking for a Mechatronics Laboratory Technician what will help us with various activites in developing state-of-the-art products for hybrid or full electric vehicles. Main activities:

•Plan and realize technical investigations concerning the material behavior and reliability of Transmission Control Units (TCUs) and Actuators;
•Utilize mechanical and physical analyses such as cross-section, pull and compression testing, shear testing and optical inspection in order to evaluate the quality and life time of components and products;
•Test and analyze the materials involved in the product’s development;
•Test and verify components and electronic control units;
•Implement specific test methods for own activities;
•install, maintaine and improve the working place (e.g. installing analysis equipment and test benches, adapting the software and hardware equipment to current needs);
•Create reports and documents in accordance with defined development processes;
•Collaborate with other development teams form other Vitesco Technologies locations;
•Internal and external presentation of reports and projects' results;
•Prepare the testing environment for the device under test (DUT);
•Validate DUTs according to the test specifications;
•Documenting the test results;
•maintenance of test's specifications;
•Proceed with responsibility towards environment, in conformity with applicable legal requirements and other requirements, in conformity with internal requirements included in the quality and environment handbook, internal procedures and operating instructions;
