Qualifications:

• University or polytechnic university degree (e.g. mechanical engineering; electrical engineering, industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification;
• Many years of experience in the automotive supply industry required, if possible in the area of quality or standardization;
• Many years of experience in the engineering development process (PLC) required;
• Tools: Good SAP R / 3 knowledge and good Microsoft Office tools required;
• Experience as a project manager desirable;
• Very good communication skills, experience in international cooperation;
• English fluently, spoken and written mandatory; German desirable;
• Very independent and goal-oriented acting, as well as structured working required, planning and organizational skills;
• Good ability to work in a team and enjoy working in innovative teams.

The Classification Solution and Material Manager is responsible for the standardization and optimization of the classification solutions for Vitesco Technologies. Furthermore, for the definition of material numbers for raw materials, as well as the release of material standards and the allocation of material numbers in coordination with the requester, purchasing, laboratory and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Centrally responsible for the management of raw materials as well as of material master and classification data, documentation and compilation in SAP, as well as their approval for projects and products from Vitesco Technologies;
• Classification, coordination, standardization and continuous process optimization of the data, the materials and the raw materials (designations and short text rules);
• Responsible for the definition and implementation of classification solutions, in coordination with the BUs and central functions, such as the quality department;
• Definition and documentation of automotive regulations;
• Safeguarding of a sustainable strategy, as well as lessons learned, through a suitable concept development;
• Central contact person within Vitesco Technologie for comprehensive, cross-BU development projects regarding classification solutions and material management;
• Support of the management through special tasks;
• Functional Reporting to the Head of Legal Technical Regulations & Standards & Material Management.
