QA Software Tester

Our partner is one of the youngest Group entities that provides Back Office services to France, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Russia and Hungary. The services are based on high tech equipment for the sub-metering systems for water, heat, electricity, gas and cooling utilities – especially in apartment buildings and commercial properties. Location: Bucharest – Eroilor Job Purpose:

• Working in an Agile team and being responsible for test web software applications for multiple countries.

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications;
• Collaborating with Software Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans;
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results;
• Evaluating developed product according to specifications;
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects;
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams;
• Helping troubleshoot issues;
• Conducting post-release/ post-implementation testing;
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
• Experience in working with web applications;
• Experience in web application testing would be a plus;
• Experience in working in Agile processes would be a plus;
• Database and SQL knowledge;
• Experience in IT projects;
• Advanced English Language;
• Ability to work in challenging international, multinational teams and manage own time;
• Self-motivated, with a high level of self-discipline;
• Patience, flexibility and attention to detail;
• Delivery focused, with a flexible approach to work and willingness to learn new systems and business lines;
• Good communication and listening skills;
