Orange Group's Shared Services Center is looking for a colleaguein its Romanian team to contribute and operate successfully various platforms such asMessaging, Device Management, Payment, Cloud etc.

The solutions we are providing are being used within Orange Groupby multiple countries. As a Service Engineer, you will ensure the proper quality ofservice on these platforms, you will be involved in standard operations and administration tasks forshared services platforms.

You will analyze QoS parameters, and come up with improvementplans and enhanced procedures to meet performance objectives.

What youwill be doing:

• Accountable for operations and administrationof service platforms;
• Real time analysis of faults and customertickets, drive corrective actions in accordance with customer impact;
• Monitor performance parameters for servicesand platforms, initiate escalation process in case of detected service orperformance degradation;
• Perform and drive preventative maintenance,trigger corrective actions;
• Contribute to the launch of new services->Bringing into operations, checking current operations, platform configuration;
• Involvement and contributor on the build andintegration activities;
• Participate to on-call activity;

What youknow and will be working with:

• Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Linux custom OS);
• Web applications middleware: Apache, NgnixTomcat, JBoss, Zend;
• Database: Oracle, MySQL, noSQL DB;
• Languages: scripting/programming bash, Perl,ruby, Java, PHP, Pyhton;
• Json, HTML, XML, CSV;
• Monitoring tools: Nagios, Centreon, Cacti,Sensu, Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Karma;
• Virtualization: VMware, Proxmox, Openstack,Cloud Foundry;
• Versioning and source control: GIT, CVS;
• Configuration and log management technologies:CHEF, Ansible, Concourse, ELS/ELK, Graylog;
• Containers and orchestration - Docker, Nomad,Kubernetes, Openshift;
• Distributed storage and file systems: HDFSHadoop, Hive, Ceph;
• Distributed data analytic: Spark, PySpark, MapReduce;
• Data streaming: Kafka, Nifi, RabbitMQ, AMQ;
• Network and security: concepts;troubleshooting (tcpdump); pfsense, haproxy, squid;
• Telecom understanding principles - MSC, SMSC,MMSC, USSD, IN;
• Knowledge telecom protocols - SS7, SIGTRAN,MAP, INAP, CAMEL, SIP.

• Working language(s) : excellent English,French will be a great plus;
• Education: Computer Science/ Informatics /Telecom degree.
