Minimum Requirements:
• Advanced degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, environmental management or related fields at master’s degree level or higher.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience carrying out environmental and social impact assessments/environmental analyses.
• Proven relevant experience in preparing and implementing environmental and social studies in at least two (2) transportation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of international best practices in environmental impact assessment and mitigation.
• Experience in applying the IFC Performance Standards is desired.
• Experience in working closely with government agencies at all levels, and/or NGOs and/or the public at large.
• Be able to write and communicate fluently in French and English.
• Must possess strong leadership skills and work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to follow documentation protocols.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Thorough understanding of environmental investigation practices, procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.

Tasks will include:
• Perform on a remote basis the environmental impact assessment reports according to Canada regulations and other environmental studies.
• Perform on a remote basis Phase 1 and 2 Site Assessments.
• Basic processing and interpretation of field data, including soil logging, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations and remediation system data.
• Coordinate work and seek input as appropriate from the project team and technical resources to ensure work is performed consistent with the project expectations.
• Evaluates and interprets field data and applies technical principles and theories.
