Mandatory Skills:

o 5+ years of experience as a UX designer in a goal-directed design environment plus 2+ years of professional experience in another role (5+ years total professional experience), or 4+ years of experience as a UX designer
o Comfortable being a philosophical and tactical leader in an agile environment
o Understand, plan for and be constantly aware of the impact of design decisions on the overall customer journey and business impact to operational goals
o Relevant experience at a design consultancy, agency, a design-focused technology company, or as part of a design-focused marketing and communications team
o Be up to date with the trends in the space while also having the knowledge of when to disregard them
o Bring thought leadership and experience to projects
o Strong understanding of both graphic design and the delivery/ co-creation of HTML/CSS/JS templates — comfortable having technical and creative conversations
o An appreciation of interactive and graphic design, typography, design thinking, and front-end development techniques
o While we celebrate all languages and forms of communications, strong written and verbal skills in English are vital for sharing ideas and connecting with others in our virtual workspace

Technical / Tools Experience:

o We work in Adobe Creative Cloud applications for creation and editing of graphics and video (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
o We also publish rich content via online creation tools such as Adobe Spark
o Our primary creation space is Adobe XD, with a mix of Figma and Axure RP
o Cloud-based collaboration tools include Whimsical, miro, and Mindmeister for brainstorming and visual storytelling / task analysis
o Communications in this space are primarily MS Teams, MS Office, and zoom

Nice-to-Have Skills:

o Experience in technical services industry and exposure to tiered offer structures
o Superior prototyping and interactive logic skills to bring visual work to life and accurately portray intended experience through design
o Professional experience creating designs for a global audience by being mindful of translation and localization impact to visual layouts
o Experience articulating design decisions and presenting work to various audiences both virtually, and in person

Modernization of an existing enterprise support application

Responsibilities:

o Develop a clear understanding of how value is created and for whom through Digital Experiences
o Collaboratively design experiences which add quantifiable value for users and our business
o Lead ideation and iteration sessions both on site and with virtual teams online
o Facilitate a consistent and repeatable UX process from project intake through delivery
o Balance the needs of the business and the user with the reality of our development environment; ensuring your solutions are desirable, feasible, and viable
o Collaborate with other teams, leaders, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with related brand and product initiative
