Junior Engineer (Welding Technology/NDT/Coating)

Welding Technology Engineer
Tasks:

Supervise project welding activities on site in compliance with stipulated deadlines, quality, productivity, costs and safety
Provide expertise in order to improve overall welding achievements
Provide production feed backs to corporate function as far as concern welding procedure and equipment weakness affecting quality and productivity
Provide innovations diffusion and promote the on-site training as far as concern new welding processes, equipment, methodologies

NDT Engineer
Tasks:
Providing technical expertise on all NDT matters as required on projects;
Assisting and supporting the NDT Coordinator or the project teams on all NDT matters;
Preparing NDT procedures for assigned project;
Reviewing client specifications and scopes of work, examining pipe metallurgy and preparing detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality;
Reviewing subcontractors tender documents and technical qualifications;
Assisting Quality Department and HSES Department on subcontractor assessments/audits;
Reviewing and approve subcontractors’ NDT submissions

Coating Engineer
Tasks:
Research and development of the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and systems;
Perform the feasibility studies for suitability of the coating, painting and field joint coating systems;
Review of the received documents and elaboration of the input data related to the coating, painting and field joint coating works;
Selection of suitable coating, painting and field joint coating materials and systems.
Preparation of technical qualifications related to the coating, painting and field joint coating;
Preparation of the technical specifications and technical requisitions related to the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and services;
Technical evaluation of the offers received from Vendors related to the supply of the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and services;
Selection of suitable coating, painting and field joint coating materials and systems;
Technical evaluation of the offers received from Vendors related to the supply of the coating, painting and field joint coating materials and services;
Witnessing of the Pre-Qualification Test performed by Subcontractors related to the coating, painting and field joint coating.
