This BDM position is responsible for the growth of the Data Center Segment for our client – telecom industry - in Bucharest and Ilfov county. The BDM will be expected to define and deploy a market strategy that will result in meeting/exceeding sales target and quality services, increasing our client market presence as well as forging strong relationships with clients. It requires both technical and sales skills to be performant in this role.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction;
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients;
- Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests;
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for our client’s services, delivering tailored presentations to potential clients;
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales schedule.
- Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers other professional personnel.
- Being accountable for the technical and commercial proposal, negotiating the proposal and closing the deal;
- Proven track record in business development, sales executive or a relevant role roles in technology industry;
- Familiar with data center services markets;
- Ability to comprehend, develop and effectively execute business plans, account portfolio management and opportunity analyses;
- Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to articulate complex technology simply;
- Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail so all sales opportunities are explored;
- Able to plan and prioritize workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time;
- Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated;
- Excellent command of the English language;
- This role requires up to 25% travel.
