    Requirements

    Job Qualifications

    Education: BA (or equivalent)
    Experience: 2 years of work experience in a related field (or equivalent).

    Must understand content management principals and have the aptitude to learn complex work flows and application systems,
    strong organizational skills,
    must be able to work in a team environment,
    proficient at Microsoft Office applications,
    flexible and responsive to change.

    Responsibilities

    The Content Production Specialist ensures that all regulatory and legislative content is accurate to the state source of record, and is responsible for maintenance of product quality and accuracy through the application of internal content guidelines and standards. In this role, the Content Production Specialist is accountable for the development of content style and standards through their analysis of state legislative and regulatory procedures and practices on a state-by-state basis. In addition, the Content Production Specialist must have solid knowledge of computer applications including content management systems, and Microsoft Office. This position requires the ability to work effectively in different work flow processes and with multiple document types and formats. Participation in the testing of enhancements, system upgrades, and software releases, along with training of new employees on workflow systems is also required. The Content Production Specialist provides discretionary and final judgment for processing queries received from editorial processors and provides exclusive reports on any work flow or content errors identified in their final quality checks.

    Essential Duties and responsibilities

    -Performs the final quality check on all documents affected by regulatory or legislative changes to ensure that accuracy and content standards are reflected.
    -Independently develops state style standards based upon their analysis of jurisdictional legislative and regulatory procedures.
    -Exercises discretionary judgment for all workflow and content related queries from editorial processors.
    -Documents errors identified through quality assurance procedures and provides specific information on the type, severity and location of the error.
    -Modifies documents in electronic workflow with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrates expert knowledge of content standards for diverse and complicated legislative and regulatory content.
    -Performs system testing for workflow or content management application upgrades.
    -Ensures the integrity of content when data conversion procedures are initiated.
    -Participates in on-going content standardization projects and content integrity audits.
    -Trains new employees on content production procedures and quality assurance practices.
    -Provides feedback to off-shore vendors and other departments on quality or technical issues identified in workflow.

    Other Duties

    -May support additional products, including print production and Market Conduct. Includes other duties as assigned by supervisor to support ongoing editorial production needs.
