Your mission :

You will join the Global Technology Services (GTS) team at SG European Business Services. GTS, as the IT infrastructure department of Société Générale, is at the center of the transformation of the operational model of the Group and is expanding its activities in Bucharest to set in Romania one of its 3 main global delivery locations.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

• Accompany the technical teams who want to contribute to Open Source to let them publish their contribution on GitHub.com:
  • Present the contribution process to technical team by explaining the steps that they need to follow to contribute to open source;
  • Ensure that the technical team follow the contribution process;
  • Help the technical teams to resolve the issues that they face during the contribution (ex: security validation);
• Continue to improve and simplify the contribution process (both on GITHUB & SGITHUB);
• Follow the activities of Société Générale on github.com;
• Monthly update of contribution & inner sourcing KPIs;
• Synchronize and streamline the open source contribution in different departments (GBSU, TPS, BSC, ITIM & GTS);
• Prepare and coordinate for the quarterly Open Source Steerco at both group and GTS level (with the respective stakeholders);
• Work closely with the security teams in GTS and group to mitigate the security risks associated with external contribution;
• Socialize with different developers’ community (across the group) to understand their contribution strategy;
• Influence developers across the group to adapt best practices mutually;
• Participate, present and evangelize the Open Source culture in internal/external forums;
• Highlight the KPIs and examples (software aspects) of Open Source in appropriate forums;
• Work with OSPO (Open Source Program Office) at network level and prioritize between global and local initiatives/activities.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Manager with technical background;
• Good knowledge of English and French (spoken and written);
• Proven track record of building proposals from abstract concepts and of building effective presentations;
• Operational PM skills: arranging and driving discussions aimed towards streamlining processes/logical conclusions, sharing minutes and tracking actions, follow up of actions till closure, updating stakeholders time to time on the progress;
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
