Sustaining Stress Engineer

• Aerospace engineer with minimum 2 years experience in static, stability, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses
• Knowledge of aircraft materials & structures, design and manufacturing processes
• MSC Patran & Nastran and Microsoft Excel knowledge is an advantage
• Eager to learn and develop
• Creative and problem-solving attitude
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in teams, apply internal regulations, comply with company policy, open-minded
• Good verbal and written command of Romanian and English
• Able to travel to other company sites 3-4 times a year, mostly in Europe

• Performing static, stability, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses to support various phases during the product development
• Sizing of the detailed design with regards to strength, design life and stiffness requirements
• Writing or checking stress reports to support product definition
• Checking whether the product definition complies with relevant requirements
• Analyzing and solving problems/complaints concerning the product definition during manufacture and user phases
• Perform activities with an optimum balance between quality, budget and time

• Work in multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to well-known aircraft integrators
• You will be in close cooperation with other departments, like Design, Manufacturing, Materials & Processes, Weight & Balance, Cost etc., working concurrently to bring to life latest designs
• As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for sizing the aircraft structure integrating numerous requirements from various disciplines in such a way that an optimum technical solution is achieved and ultimately manufactured and assembled into a real flying product, while being very cost efficient and meeting challenging delivery schedules
