Release and Project Manager Software Development

As a Release & Project Manager Software Development (m/f/div) in our growing team in Bucharest, you will work on different projects together with our sister companies of the PIA Group. The clients are the biggest players in the automotive and lifestyle industry. Together with them, we are creating high class home pages, web shops or concepts to make our clients even more successful. You are repsonsbible to deliver the projects on-budget and in quality.

What we expect...

You are an experienced professional in the field of software project delivery, in a digital agency, consulting- or IT integrator company, ideally you started as a hands-on developer
You are experienced and comfortable using a data-driven and data-supported approach to analyzing and improving projects and managing resources
You drive for successful results through empowerment of your team which is why you are highly collaborative
You have the capability to plan and prioritize management and execution of projects that are directed towards the achievement of our clients’ objectives
You are pro-active and approachable with excellent interpersonal skills and fluent in English

You are responsible for the on-budget and in-quality delivery of client projects across various technologies
In addition, you manage software development teams in Germany (Karlsruhe, Mainz, Herrenberg and Ludwigsburg) and various nearshoring partners with focus on technologies like SAP Commerce, Spryker, Java Spring, Sitecore among others
Moreover, you get the chance to grow and establish a new UDG software development team based in Bucharest/Romania
With your entrepreneurial mind-set, you easily develop strong relationships with clients/partners
Lastly you participate in the overall direction of UDG through broad involvement in strategy, technical- and organizational innovation as part of the management team
