Windows & Linux Server Engineer

Advanced French;
English fluency both written and spoken;
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines;
Minimum 4 years of Linux or Windows along with cluster setup - systems administration or hands-on experience is a must;
Experience with VMWare ESXi 4.x, ESX 4.x, vSphere;
Knowledgeable in Windows server administration, security and troubleshooting, such as Active Directory, GPO management and network authentication;
Knowledgeable in Windows Server 2003, 2008 deployments, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu
Knowledgeable in VMWare ESXi 4.x, ESX 4.x, vSpher;
Protocol level - all/few of the following: SMTP, SNMP, SNTP, POP, FTP, SSL, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, telnet, SFTP, DNS, RDP, TCP, ICMP and UDP;
Extensive experience managing server based applications;
Ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects and systems;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Good team player with a can-do attitude;
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills;

Technical issues that cannot be solved by the L1 and requires an expert assistance to sort the issue within the SLA and Turn Around Time (TAT);
Creating realistic testing scenarios and scripts to use before and after equipment and software version upgrades ;
Proxy configuration and security binding; etc.
Conducting on-going system audits to evaluate the utility and efficiency of systems hardware, software and communication components to meet the business needs;
Gather necessary data for issue replication, problem determination and/or escalation.
