Key objectives for this role will be achieving/ improving/ exceeding business requirements for volume/ revenue, targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and goals, and managing supply and demand within the Regional Supply Chain.
This role will work directly with manufacturing, worldwide planners, service engineers and vendors to procure parts and accessories.
Knowledge of supply chain processes required; demand management, supply management, capacity planning, materials management, and inventory management including components of inventory
Knowledgeable of SAP Demand Planning module
Proven ability to work and influence outcomes in a matrix environment
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (focus on Excel)
Demonstrated ability to work with business partners understanding cultural, business and economic differences of the various countries
Excellent analytical skills
Effective negotiating and selling skills
Effective communicator in both oral and written presentations
Lean/Six Sigma orientation
Strong results orientation and execution.

Maintain supply and demand balance for assigned products
Manage regional forecasts and actively monitor daily demand, inventory goals and actuals reporting
Drive inventory and cycle time improvements
Proactively report material availability issues that impact sales volume with regional and worldwide management teams
Recognize/ understand supply issues that impact revenue and communicate with Sales/Service ops
Support new product launches, portfolio rationalization, discontinuances and source of supply changes
Reconcile aggregate and item level plans as needed
Complete special projects and assignments as it relates to regional demand
Support and attend meetings with assigned business as required. Provide analysis of key customer order volumes and trends as requested

EDUCATION
BS degree in economics or engineering.
Supply Chain & Logistics specific education is preferred

EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience as Demand and/or Supply Planner (preferable in healthcare/medical industry)
APICS or any professional Certification is an advantage

TRAVEL
Up to 10-15% domestic and international travel
