- At least 5+ years in a related pre-sales/support role;
- Knowledge of competing solutions;
- Business and technical acumen - stay abreast of industry developments and can identify and analyze trends;
- Drive for results - demonstrates high personal work standards and takes ownership for quality and timing of work;
- Technical and communication skills - very strong analytical skills coupled with an ability to summarize results for clear and effective communications;
- Strategic agility - challenges himself/herself and team to constantly look for new approaches and sales techniques to achieve success;
- Able to communicate/present in English.
- Assists the sales staff in assessing/developing potential application of Dell solutions/products and services to meet customer needs;
- Contribute to regular account and opportunity planning sessions to develop clear account strategies, value propositions, tactics and actions to drive incremental sales of Dell Solutions;
- Provides counsel across account team in analyzing customer requirements and performing advanced systems integration and providing technical expertise to design solution using breadth of Dell products and services;
- Support the sales organization to meet and/or exceed their objectives on Solutions
RFP Strategy consultation and customer panel presentations;
- Keep up to date with current industry trends and fully assess the impact on Dell customers and potential customers;
- Actively engage Dell solutions partners and channel partners in customer opportunities where that is appropriate to win the customer case.
