Bachelors Technical Degree in Engineering, or related field.
Electricalmechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

The Facility Manager will be directly responsible for the provision of facilities services in a prestigious high specification officecommercial building (ex.- security, cleaning, technical supervision and coordination).
- Ensure that the highest standards of management and maintenance of a multi-tenanted property and ensuring service to the occupiers are provided while having regard to cost considerations.
- Ensure the regular liaison with occupiers and being the first point of contact for advice and guidance in connection with the day-to-day physical operation of the building.
- Be directly responsible for junior site-based employees and their assessment, training and development and day-to-day management, you will also be asked to advice on staff structures required.
- Provide and organize reactive maintenance and day-to-day service requirements undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Will also involve the establishment and maintenance of high quality health and safety arrangements.
- Ensure the maintenance, test and implementation of disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies, including the organization and co-ordination of fire evacuation and bomb drills.
- Have to establish and maintain proper site records in accordance with best practice rules.
- Monitors and controls mission critical systems through the use of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ensures timely maintenance of systems and facilities through the use of computerized maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinates and schedules work by outside contractors to minimize inconvenience and disruption of business.
- Provides technical assistance, creating long short term plans and management of the facility.
- Recommends the purchases of new equipment, major capital expenditures, and major maintenance repairs.
- Prepares technical specifications for minor projects andor equipment replacements.
- Provides project management for capital improvements,
- Provides monthly status reports.
