  Your day to day:
In a highly dynamic technological environment, each year, Mobile Network Operators are tested in benchmark campaigns in order to compare the quality of the provided services.   Vodafone Operators around the world are always among the first when it comes to these benchmark campaigns.   We are looking for a colleague to help us in delivering the same best results for the following campaigns, regardless we are talking about uplink or downlink throughput performance or voice characteristics in UMTS, LTE and NR Radio Access Networks.   If you have more than three years of RAN Optimization experience, you are interested in drive tests methodologies and analysis and want to think about innovative solutions of improving the Mobile Access Network performance we are curious to meet you.

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:  

• Analyze and evaluate new hardware and software technologies for designing and building innovative and more efficient Sw defined radio systems for clients
• Creating guidelines for new Sw Features implementation
• Develop dedicated RAN software for the European OpCos customers, create XML commands in line with optimization guidelines
• Drive tests analysis of new RAN software on the related Hw equipment
• Performs optimization and troubleshooting activities than writes the technical specifications for the necessary SW or HW changes

• Knowledge of radio access technologies (2G, 3G and 4G)
• Knowledge of radio equipment and sw functionalities and parameters
• Knowledge of main network KPIs and optimization techniques
• Good understanding of the SW lifecycle: development, testing and acceptance, implementation, performance optimization and troubleshooting
