• Bachelor degree, (Economics is preferred);
• Good command of English language, oral and written;
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• SAP knowledge
• Proven experience in a similar position, any industry;
• Problem solving attitude;
• Prioritization, deliver effectively under tight schedule/ deadlines
• Good communication skills and team player
• Experience in a similar position, agricultural sector is a plus
• Eager to learn
As a member of our Cargill Animal Nutrition (CAN) team, you will provide an efficient raw material planning in order to guarantee all the needs are covered for feed production process for Sura Mica location.
•Applies a basic understanding of local practices and procedures to manage, organize, and coordinate processes for procurement of materials/goods, services, and or supplies;
•Ensure full availability of all raw materials required for on-time fulfilment of customer orders (no stock outs) and efficient production planning, against best total supply chain cost;
•Vendor Management (day to day interaction), review Supplier Performance regularly;
•Monitor the stocks of raw materials in accordance with the company safety requirements, and ensures these safety stocks so that supplying the production can be optimized;
•Checks electronic and/or hard-copy records and files for accuracy, performing basic analysis of data;
•Prepares basic summary reports, under the direction of more senior team member;
•Active participation in new product launches, phasing in/ out of products;
•Ensure appropriate documentation and archiving of specific logistics documents;
•Establish the guidelines, contact the suppliers and take actions to research basic variances with supplier contract terms and conditions (on-time delivery, quality of materials/goods, adherence to specifications, etc.);
•Coordinates return of rejected/damaged or otherwise unsuitable orders.
•Lead requests for procurement of non-contracted materials/goods, services and/or supplies which are considered non-leveraged, local spend (as defined by Strategic Sourcing policies) based on established, specific limits and existing procedures;
•Negotiating basic contract execution (delivery schedule) respecting terms and conditions;
•Create and maintain vendor identification codes in SAP.
