Web Developer, Innovation
Join our team! We're hiring in Bucharest!
We've had a presence in Bucharest since 2014, starting with an acquisition of a small team of developers. By late 2016 we had expanded to 20 people and by the end of 2017 we had 40. We continue to invest in and develop our Romania presence aiming to double in size once again some time in 2019.
Additionally, where we previously concentrated on engineering capacity, we have built a broader and deeper team extending to architecture, product design, and product management so we can have completely self-sufficient and co-located product teams.
You have to bring these things to the table:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Some experience. We’d love to hire someone with a lot of proven experience but we’re more focused on finding the right cultural fit—maybe you’re early in your career in looking to take the next step. If so, come and meet us and maybe we’ll provide that opportunity for you. As long as you think you have what it takes to do this job, we’d love to meet you.
A brain that is wired to go expediently from insight to action, understanding that perfection can be the enemy of the good.
Good communication skills in English.
Collaborate with the design team to produce wireframes and/or screen mockups
Experience in integrating with the RESTful APIs with JSON and XML payloads
Experience in developing and troubleshooting cross-platform and cross-browser issues
Ability to work on a small team and lead area of focus
We are looking for a senior engineer with significant design and implementation experience with the front-end components of web applications.
You will lead, design and implement the web applications for a new scalable cloud service. In this role, you will have the ability to influence and directly shape the future experience for our customers, which is critical for our success
It would be great if you also have:
Familiarity with MEAN stack.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design
Strong object-oriented design experience
Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux, git, unit testing frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Be ready to tell us some stories that support the above.
It would be mind-blowingly awesome if you also have:
Experience building something on your own. Open source, start-up, app, etc
Something else that we’d be surprised to learn about you that also qualifies as awesome. (Cliff-diver? Community leader? Artist/musician?)
