    Permanent Control Transformation

    Your Mission

    As a Permanent Control Transformation you will be responsible for analyzing, updating, defining and support implementing controls in the Accounting and Reporting French perimeter of Societe Generale European Business Services.

    Your Role in a Nutshell:

    • Analize the control framework, report and propose improvements of the controls and framework, within the accounting and reporting area;
    • Analyze controls and put in place actions to align with group/banking controls standards; 
    • Provide support to the accounting teams in the definition/update/improvement of controls in the accounting and reporting processes;
    • Draft procedures related to control implementation or performance; Contribute to setup and follow up procedures implementation/application, and ensure knowledge management around accounting controls topics;
    • Support harmonization of the controls performance; Interact with other stakeholders in Paris and/or Bucharest to ensure homogeneisation and standardization of practices;
    • Provide support to the accounting teams and coaching/training for proper performance and formalization of the controls;
    • Monitor and record of operational risk related to control framework and alert management of potential risks;
    • Identify any initiative reinforcing controls and contribute to raise best practices.

    A little about You:

    • You are an Academy of Economic Studies graduate, preferably Finance/Accounting;
    • You have been involved and have proven experience in internal controls in Accounting/financial services and/or audit;
    • You have 3+ years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting/ Audit or Reporting; preferable 3+ years experience in financial audit;
    • You are a medium French speaker;
    • You have an advanced level of Excel knowledge.
