Qualified Accountant (e.g. CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or bachelor's degree in Finance.
Excellent inter personal skills and ability to build strong relationships with both financial and non-financial senior stakeholders.
Excel skills should be of a high standard.
Fluency in English language.
Self-motivating, takes ownership and committed to delivering results.
Knowledge of SAP is essential. Power BI and BPC will be useful but not essential.
A keen eye to challenge and recommend process improvement.
The job holder will support the ‘SCFM’ (Senior Corporate Finance Manager) HR in delivery of timely and accurate information. The role is part of the Commercial Planning and Analysis (CP&A) team who are responsible for Group and Regional financial management reporting and analysis.
Support the QPR cycle deliverables (such as cost driver preparation, BAT Cash forecast etc.)
Work in partnership with the Senior Corporate Finance Manager - HR and the central HR function to control and manage the delivery of the centre HR budgets
Take ownership of the HR recharge activities by supporting the IGT resource with escalations and working closely with the intercompany billing team
Support the HR function and other stakeholders with financial and other enquiries
Analysis of global HR Overheads for QPR cycles including detailed commentaries for material movements
Support the SCFM – HR to engage the HR budget holders to derive the QPR forecast and uploading data into BPC (Includes UK and virtual headcount, employment cost, internal and external spend)
Completion of quarterly cost drivers, BAT Cash, balance sheet reconciliation for centre HR etc.
Support the SCFM – To monitor actual cost against the agreed budget to ensure the functional target is delivered
Ensure the correct classification of central HR overheads in accordance with the Black Book
Preparation of accruals at half year and year-end financial reporting
Monitor with the support of other team members the SOX compliance metrics (GRIR, Open PO, VIM)
Support the central HR EAs and other stake holders with financial and other enquiries
Frequent catch up with IGT team to understand the progress of the HR recharges and escalations that are required to speed up the flow.
Monthly uploading of cost to be billed by IGT based on POs received
Analysis of global HR overheads to understand material cost movements and obtain commentaries.
