The purpose of the role may vary depending on the scope:
has process and statistical expertise
is responsible for project management tasks
is responsible for the execution of advanced statistical tools and market research solutionsProactive and independent problem solving (finds solutions for business problems).
Technical skills required:
working knowledge of the respective product, Advanced analytics skills, statistical know how of multivariate approaches
working knowledge in statistical methods, working knowledge in relevant statistic programs like SPSS / R by using the Syntax-Editor
advanced Excel skills
basics in Project management
Responsible for analytics research on one or more products, with a wealth of attributions for both customer service and end-product quality assurance (verification, interpretation and reporting to clients).
Research Design & Proposal Development:
supports in choosing the adequate research tool
checks feasibility of requested analyses
Support with Expert knowledge within the organization when it comes to the Set Up of proposals Project
responsible for project execution – typically for the analytical part of projects and tools and the management of data coming from different data sources (consumer panel, questionnaire, media measurement, 3rd party data etc.)
delivers Projects and tools to relevant stakeholders (especially Client Service) in time and is able to set stable milestones
analysis & Reporting:executes statistical analyses required for reporting purposes or detailed customer requests (using SPSS, R or AnalyzeIT)
if applicable: Big-Data access and data management on Hadoop distributed file systems using relevant programming languages (HIVE, PIG)
analyses data and data trends using different tools in order to provide insights for the customercreation of presentation charts
client interaction especially as an expert
client contact in the context of project management tasks or as part of the account management support
