Java Developer

The Bucharest Office is one of AG’s IT Centers that offers support for the Corporation Teams in the Data warehouse, System Engineering, QA Automation Engineering, Web & Mobile Development arias.

Technical skills:
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with OOP or one of the following Java/.NET App Development
• Good experience with Eclipse-based/MSVS development environments
• Good understanding of how to implement applications MVC utilizing the Java/.NET App Development frameworks
• Demonstrated proficiency of DB2/ SQL Server/ MS-SQL
• Working knowledge of the Hibernate technology for persistence management (is a plus)
• Experience in the area of UML, system development, and Java/J2EE-related technologies (is a plus)

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.

Nice to have: Sun Certified Developer certification and one of the advanced Sun certifications (Sun Web/ Business/ Java Web Services/Enterprise Architect)

- Good general technical engineering skills, strong technical aptitude – self learner
- Multi task, desire and flexibility to be involved in multiple projects, self-motivating

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide design and implementation support on both new and existing custom development efforts
- Communicate with technical staff and various business clients to aide in the gathering of new requirements and to identify root cause of application issues
- Estimates tasks accurately

- Swarms with other scrum team members
