•2-5+ years banking business experience gained working in a Bank or implementing financial software
•2+ years of implementing or developing a financial software product
•General understanding of Banking Products and Operations of a Financial Institution
•Ability to produce requirements, specifications and other documentation in clear and concise English for the consumption of both internal and external stakeholders
•Good communication skills
•Detailed knowledge of Banking Framework products such as Standing Orders, Direct Debit, Cheques, Delivery, Credit Limits and Collateral, Financial Regulation, Financial Accounting, Tax
•Knowledge of industry standards such as SWIFT, ISO20022, FATCA, CRS, Tax Regulation
•Detailed knowledge of at least one Temenos Product Suite or Product Family
•Knowledge of other banking software products
•Previous design, development or testing experience gained in Temenos
•Gather, document and agree business requirements with project stakeholders ◦Participate in requirements workshops with clients and Temenos stakeholders from other product management teams, services and pre-sales
◦Use knowledge of banking and Temenos products to establish the scope of the requirement
◦Be prepared to question and challenge requests made and suggest alternative approaches if relevant
◦Identify and agree business scenarios and acceptance cases
•Produce Functional Specification in Response to the agreed Business Requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the production of FSDs, under the guidance of Senior Principal Business Analysts and Product Managers and with their approval. ◦Describe business solution to the requirement
◦Agree the High Level functional solution within the system in conjunction with the Product Specialists, Architects and Design Team
◦Document the High Level Functional Solution to enable the end user to visualise the solution
◦Describe acceptance scenarios and criteria
◦The Senior Business Analyst will be expected to be in regular contact with the Product Manager/Delivery manager(s) to ensure the FSD progress is monitored and delivered according to schedule.
•Handover of FSD to the development, testing and model bank teams ◦Walkthrough Business Requirement and FSD
•Validate developed solution during development process ◦Review and sign off developed solution in regular demonstrations
◦Review and Sign off Test cases
•Demonstrate solution to stakeholders ◦The Senior Business Analyst may be required to demonstrate the new functionality to clients and will need to ensure that environment is prepared and configured and relevant coverage is presented to client
•Produce business content for User guides ◦Prepare user & training documentation after each enhancement;
◦Integrate the new collateral in the overall user documentation, identifying and reviewing the impacted sections
