Linux Administrator

Infosys Consulting Romanian Office is enlarging its team with the new Office Building in Str. Buzesti 85, close to Victoriei Square Metro Station.

The Linux operating system, at scale:
- Experience with full lifecycle management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS systems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Fluent with the Linux command line interface.
- Must understand Linux internals (system calls, file systems, processes, etc.)
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.Must understand TCP/IP and related protocols (HTTP, FTP, NFS, etc.)
Experience reading, writing, or modifying scripts in at least one of the following languages (Bash, Perl, Python)

Hands-on experience engineering, deploying and managing cloud solutions on Azure or AWS
Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT, build management tools and Continuous Integration tools such as VSTS, Jenkins
Have proven experience working with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management systems, CI/CD pipelines
Experience with databases – MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.

Optional experience:
Containerization experience, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
Have experience with implementing, deploying, operating a big-data platform within an enterprise production environment.
Experience of the Microsoft Azure product set.
Experience with server automation tools such as Chef
