•Responsible for the management of the technical performance of his process domain;
•Defines the settings for every process and product, following -up the performance of the daily operations with interventions when indicators are out of control;
•Responsible for improving the standards in the plant by leading and executing projects to obtain improvements (in domains such as quality, cost, efficiency, flexibility, EHS).
•Provides support to the Quality & Technology manager in connecting the plant to the customers;
•Presents the improvements to the customer and discovers further improvement opportunities;
•Defines innovations in products and processes, in a controlled and structured way;
•Responsible for aligning the technical processes in the plant with the global standards in his/her process domain;
•Develops, edits and updates the process documentation;
•Follows -up the long term trends in process performance;
•Supervises, follows-up and setups action teams when parameters go out of control;
•Leads problem solving activities / provides support to the quality department for problem solving activities;
•Defines and executes trials, analzing and reporting the results of these trials;
•Supervises the first production after start-ups and process changes;
•Ensures assistance to the production team for defining, maintaining and improving operational procedures;
•Follows-up scrap and takes actions where necessary.
