    Main Purpose of the Role

    • Marketplace set up and delivery of digital content materials to submissions team
    • Support EA’s Publishing organization in the Sales and Marketing activities to promote all commercial digital products
    • Work closely with internal EA global teams for set up and submission of materials/software to support each launch

    The PLM Digital Publishing Coordinator will be part of a high-performing team that can provide cross functional and cross regional support to deliver coverage across time-zones. The role will be point of contact for the business and work closely with PLM Submissions & Digital Publishing colleagues in different time-zones to ensure coverage for projects is always available in both Central European and Pacific Standard time zones.

     

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

     

    • Assist with the delivery of on-time and accurate product metadata and assets to support the release of content in the digital channels in alignment with the overall franchise plan
    • Coordinate digital product release plans, schedules and deliverables and report out to all key stakeholders
    • Responsible for tracking and reporting key metrics for the key functions
    • Partner with Global Localization team to ensure accurate translations of product metadata copy
    • Work with internal EA global teams to deliver complete content packages to the Global PLM Submissions team
    • Assist the Digital Publishing managers with First Parties on our commercial and operational requirements
    • Review and request updates for the weekly PSM Pre-order Status report to global publishing teams
    • Review and analyze on an ongoing basis the process documentation for the PLM Digital Publishing organization
    • Maintain a general level of understanding of all internal digital publishing requirements relating to platform(s)
    • Also required, as needed:
      • occasionally coordinate the Metadata submission process for platforms as support for the Submissions team
      • support delivery and submission of assets
      • provide knowledge and support to Studios to increase their understanding of the Metadata submission process and its requirements

     

    Special Considerations

     

    • Workload and hours for this role increase building up to the pre-Christmas period, typically September to mid-November each year. Annual leave should not be planned during this period
    • In order to provide support during Pacific Standard Time, a night shift is established within the team. This role will be expected to be a part of a rotation plan in the team to ensure that the night shift is covered for portions of the year.

     

     

    Skills and Knowledge Required

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in project management, channel management or account management
    • Applicable experience will include elements of team/project/program management
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Experience working with JIRA databases and Windows SharePoint is a plus
    • Ability to work calmly under pressure maintaining attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability of building mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external partners
    • Ability to multi-task and manage several products at once
    • Ability to build trust through consistent and reliable ongoing delivery
    • Passion for the gaming industry
    • Communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally. Excellent written and spoken English is required for the role

     

    Nice to have

     

    • Knowledge of the technical requirements of Sony/Microsoft
    • Familiarity with EA internal structure and content/metadata submission processes
    • Understanding of First Party product types and marketplace policies (bundling, pre-orders, patches, etc.)
    • Experience in software submissions, First Party digital metadata requirements and/or Certification/QA
