Java developer

The Bucharest Office is one of AG’s IT Centers that offers support for the Corporation Teams in the Data warehouse, System Engineering, QA Automation Engineering, Web & Mobile Development arias.

We are a young, ambitious and dynamic team, growing together with the company through high trainings offered by our specialists in a variety of technologies across all platforms.

Basic OOP knowledge (.NET or/and Java);
Basic ETL knowledge (able to use a data modelling tool - ex SSIS);
Strong HTML, JS and CSS knowledge, Excel
Good understanding of how to implement applications MVC utilizing the Java/.NET App Development frameworks
Strong SQL Server/ MS-SQL
Working knowledge of the Hibernate technology for persistence management (is a plus)
Experience in the area of UML, system development, and Java/J2EE-related technologies (is a plus).
Interfaces well with 3rd party application suppliers, business stakeholders and client users;
Flexible and adaptable quickly to rapid changing situations;
Available to be on call and support business applications;
React quickly on system outage.
English skills are manadatory

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

Working with business users to understand the business requirements/needs;
Working with 3rd party application suppliers to configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and install application packages on different asset management solutions; Ex: JDA, Media Beacon, MP2, Vertex, etc.
Create medium to complex SSIS job;
Query SQL Server and Access databases;
Working regularly with Visual Basic.

Learning opportunities/technologies:

JBoss Development Studio, Rational XDE/RSA modeling tools;
Swing, HTML, JavaScript, web/application servers(open source), Sencha Architect;
Android Studio, Source/version control software (SVN, SCM), DB2/SQL, DB2/ SQL Server/ MS-SQL.
