In order to lead teams of developers in Agile methodology, an Agile Coach performs many different tasks. We analyzed job listings for Agile Coaches in order to identify these core duties and responsibilities: Educate Colleagues, Mentor Team, Develop Agile Adoption Strategy, Implement Agile Methodology

Looking at your daily tasks:

• Good knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies such as eXtreme Programming, Scrum and Kanban;
• Medium to good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and (Agile) application lifecycle management
• Can deliver effective training classes on a variety of Agile related topics as well as contribute to their design;
• Medium to Good Scrum Master Experience;
• Ability to manage organizational change initiative;
• Very good people management skills: motivate, observe, give feedback and help individuals grow teams;

• Design and run Agile trainings (Scrum Master training, Scrum for teams, Product Owner training)
• Fully taking over the Agile Coach & Trainer role for teams;
• The Agile Coach helps teams grow into self-managing and self-organizing teams; he or she can prepare and implement a new environment to grow quickly;
• Work closely together with the team, the customer and other teams and coaches in our company;
• Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our teams;
• Act as Scrum master for various initiatives with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work;
• Help build Agile Communities of Practice;
