Planning Engineer

Proficient English and/or German
Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
Good knowledge of project management software: MS Project, Primavera is considered advantage
Good MS Office skills
Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems
Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skill
Available for travel/relocation

Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract, covering entire scope and within defined timelines
Estimate the budget required for the project and create various cost centres to document and monitor the expenses
Calculating optimal material requirement, human resource requirement and machinery requirement
Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan
Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise the management
Create cashflow analysis
Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates and reports of the project
Report to Management about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work
Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required
Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for tenders
Create project closing reports
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
