Accountant

Qualifications and experience of the successful candidate:
Acquired university degree in Finance / Economics (Accounting degree is considered as a plus);
Minimum 2-3 years of experience on a similar position required, previous experience in Finance Department of a multinational company is an advantage;
Fluent level of English language (both spoken and written), native level of Romanian;
Excellent computer knowledge (knowledge of SUN, SAP is an advantage);
Customer focus attitude and approach;
Attention to details and multi - tasking skills;
Precise, accurate, organized and structured mind set.

You will have the following areas of responsibility:
Compiling and tracking of spending against existing contracts to ensure proper payments to vendors and suppliers;
Performing daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system;
Following specific and detailed instructions and procedures according to accountant / book - keeping standards;
Manual journals posting in SAP and SUN systems;
Keeping the books in line with local accounting and tax rules and in parallel according to the US GAAP standards and J&J internal procedures;
Balance sheet reconciliation performed on a monthly basis;
Participating on month end, quarter end and year end process.
