As Global Delivery Center team we're looking for Technical Project Managers (TPM).
Within the team, you will find the opportunity to work on the next generation engineering technologies in an international setting and be part of a team of experts.
As Engineering team, we are the back end experts. Our main mission is delivering engineering activities for Fix and Mobile within customer projects.
As a TPM, you will be involved in driving flawless delivery of installation and commissioning activities, leading
configuration, integration and engineering.
The role involves:
* Having a strong technical understanding of Fixed and Mobile technologies
* Governing the operational processes
* Translating high level business requirements to the implementation of solution
* Inter-working and coordination among all stake holders such as GDC, Program Management and the Customer
* End-to-end project roll-out from delivery, installation, configuration, executing test cases
* Being the key technical interface to drive engineering and integration activities onsite to ensure project schedule is
on track. Assist in planning and ensure all risks have mitigation strategies in place.
The primary outcomes expected from the role during the first year:
* Developing and maintaining excellent relationship with the customer
* Participating in technical communities and training inexperienced team members
* Ensuring Right First Time delivery of the engineering activities
* Generating up-scope opportunities
Qualifications - External
* Bachelor or Master degree in telecommunication, information technology or engineering
* High customer orientation
* High accountability with initiative/creative approach
* A flexible, positive and creative attitude
* Analytical mindset and creativity, highly oriented towards problem solving.
* Detail-oriented, well organized and multi-tasking
* Very good social and communication skills
* Stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure
* Team player & leader with strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently
* Capacity to effectively engage customer at technical domain
* Ability to learn effectively and quickly
* 3+ years of relevant experience of telecom environment
* Strong knowledge on operational management processes, ITIL certification is a plus
* Strong telecommunication technology knowledge
* Basic understanding of scripting
* Fluency in English and French
