    Description

    To participate and support activities related to manufacturing of Emerson cabinets. These activities will be directly linked to procurement and building of different types of cabinets and field enclosures.
     
    Responsibilities

    Check completion for manufacturing of the cabinet design package (cabinet layout and BOM) and communicate on issues with hardware design engineer
    Entering approved BOM into iCenter Costing Tool (“Quote Tool”)
    Maintaining item master in iCenter Costing Tool (“Quote Tool”) and specials database
    Offer technical support for the procurement process of materials (cabinet, Buy-out and Emerson product)
    Initiate the customer clarification request and the deviation forms addressed to the hardware design team
    Co-ordinate improvement of manufacturing tools and increase effectiveness of general manufacturing processes
    Provide technical support for assembly
    Involvement in activities with regard to hardware FAT and testing as needed
    Communicate in detail technical matters to support iCenter`s processes
    Follow the correct working methods, procedures, tools, and identify areas of improvement where needed
    Report to project manager the progress and follow assembly labor hours budget against actual schedule
    Provide feedback to the cabinet design team and proposal group
    Provide sales support with technical solutions and budget estimates
    Support the iCenter PSS/PWS Account Manager and Engineering Supervisor with setting priorities
    Co-ordinate and supervise the training of new and existing engineers in the team
     
    Requirements

    Technical Bachelor degree
    Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing related environment  (preferably within electrical engineering/automation industry)
    Familiarity with design programs such as: EPlan, ECAD, MicroStation, preferably AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
    Preferably to have Electrical certifications, to be able to understand electrical designs and assembly
    Preferably to have good knowledge in technically related areas (ATEX etc.)
    Experience working in project teams (preferably in geographically distributed teams)
    Fluency in English, other languages like French, German, Spanish is an advantage
    Computer Literate (MS Office)
    Valid driving license
