SECURITY TRANSITION ENGINEER- Emerson

Description
Works as part of the Security Design and Transition group, within Global Communications and Information Security (GCIS), to engineer services to be delivered and operated in a globally consistent manner by Operations.
 
Responsibilities

• Works on multiple simultaneous projects to implement new technologies and configuration in conjunction with other GCIS groups
• Identify, develop and implement technical security solutions that align with organizational strategic requirements
• Serves as security Subject Matter Expert on Business Unit and Corporate IT projects
• Acts as a lead and subject expert for certain technologies/services within the group as assigned
• Participates in the GCIS release management process for new services and ongoing service feature releases to include, but not limited to:
• Working with Design on the initial service concept ensuring a handover to Transition
• Working in a cross functional team to develop the service and required deliverables
• Working with Operations to train and handover the service such that it can be delivered and supported consistently
• Acts an interface between Design and Operations.

 
Requirements

• BA/BS in Information Systems or related area required
• Qualifications, CISSP Preferred
• Strong background in designing and implementing Infrastructure services supporting network security, client computing, identity management and end user support services
• Excelent Communication and Teamwork skills
• Advanced English language skills (verbal, reading, writing, understanding)
• Experience of working in a global environment essential
• Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
• 3+ years of experience in the following Information Security domains:

Identity and Access Management
Data Protection and Data Loss Prevention
Web Content Filtering
Threat and Vulnerability Management

• Knowledge of ITIL v3 an advantage, but not necessary
